EXCHANGE POLICY

Change of mind: We understand that sometimes plans change. If you'd like to exchange an item (or items) because you've changed your mind, you have 14 days from the delivery date to initiate the return process if meet any of these conditions:

  • Unopened and Unused: The item must be in its original packaging and unused condition.
  • Damaged on Arrival: If the item is damaged upon delivery, please contact us immediately.
  • Incorrect Item Received: If you received an incorrect item, we apologize for the mistake! Please contact us to arrange the exchange.

The amount of the returned item will be issued as a credit balance to your e-wallet.

Please note: Delivery charges are non-refundable. This means the cost of delivering the item to your home will be deducted from your return amount.

RETURN EXCEPTIONS

Hygiene Reasons:

  • We cannot accept returns on items like duvets, bed sheets, mattresses, pillows, cushions, comforters, bath/sanitary items, towels, quilts, and rugs due to hygiene concerns.

 Custom Orders & Damaged Products & Clearance:

  • Customized orders, products damaged due to misuse or wear and tear, and items sold 'As-Is' in the clearance section (no warranty provided) are not eligible for return, even within the 14-day window.
  • Items that have been used, altered, assembled, or installed.

Furniture Returns:

  • We cannot accept returns on furniture, chandelier and fixture once it has been delivered and installed.

  • Await Confirmation: After submitting your return request, our team will review it and provide further instruction related the request

  • OC Home reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet our criteria or are initiated by users without registered accounts. 
  • We may also ask for picture identification to help resolve the issue as fast as possible. 

 

Refund Process for Manufacturing Defects

At OC Home, we stand behind the quality of our products. If you receive an item with a manufacturing defect, you can request a refund within 14 days  of delivery

  • Processing Time: The refund may take up to 14 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank's processing times.

A manufacturing defect refers to an imperfection or flaw in the product that existed at the time of its production. This could include:

  • Assembly defects: Errors made during the product's assembly process.

A.Refund/Returned Policy For Homeware Items

Return/Refund Policy ,Process & Eligibility

  • Return and refund for eligible homeware items are possible within 14 days from the date of delivery.
  • Contact our Customer Service team (E-mail: info@ochome.ae, Call: 6005 62463) to place the refund request following which, we can help you set the returning date/time.
  • You also have the option to log in to your OC Home account to place a return request.

 Eligibility for Return & Refund:

Your homeware item will become eligible for a refund within 14 days from the date of delivery if any of the following conditions are met:

  • If the item is unused, unopened and remains in the original packaging and condition.
  • If the product is damaged at the time of arrival.
  • If the item has discrepancy issues (ie if an incorrect item is delivered).

Note:

Ensure that you provide the invoice when returning the item

 Change Of Mind

  • In case you have changed your mind about an item(s), the return must be processed within 14 days from the delivery date.
  • Applicable Refunds will be processed only as Credit Balance to your E-Wallet and will be valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
  • The returned item(s) will be assessed and approved based on the Quality Control protocol.
  • Items such as duvets, bed sheets, mattresses, pillows, cushions, comforters, bath/sanitary items, towels, quilts & rugs will not be applicable for return and refund due to hygiene reasons .
  • Customised orders will not be applicable for a return request.
  • Products damaged by misuse or showing signs of wear, even if they are still under the 14-day return policy period will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Items that have been used, altered, assembled or installed will not be applicable for the change of mind return requests.

Non-Refundable/Exchangeable Purchases

  • Due to safety reasons, OC Home will not be issuing a return or refund for items such as duvets, bed sheets, mattresses, pillows, cushions, comforters, bath/sanitary items, towels, quilts & rugs .
  • Custom-made orders.
  • Used goods or items that are accidentally damaged by the customer.
  • Items sold “As-Is” under the clearance section. There is no warranty provided and cannot be repaired/retouched before delivery.
  • Items that are out of original packaging.
  • Chandeliers & lighting that are delivered and installed.
  • A change of mind refund is not acceptable for any furniture item(s)
  • Returns will not be accepted for furniture once it has been delivered.

Refund Method

Once the refund is confirmed, the amount will be processed back to your debit/credit card or E-wallet account depending upon the original mode of payment. (Except for the change of mind requests - where the refund will only be issued back to your E-wallet account)

Refund Transaction:
Refund to the source account takes approximately 14 business days if the payment was made using a debit/credit card. 


For purchases made using store credit, the refund gets issued back to your E-wallet account in 2-3 business days. We will only credit the amount after receiving the product back to our facility

Note :

Applicable refunds will be only issued in the form of store credits for the Change of Mind return requests. 

The E-wallet amount will be only valid for 6 months from the date of issue.


Refund Denied :
We are unable to process a refund if your returned item does not fall under the policy as described above or if you don’t provide proof of purchase. So, ensure that you keep the receipt.

B.Refund/Returned Policy For Furniture Items

Refund Policy,Process & Eligibility:

  • OC Home will not provide a return, refund or exchange of any furniture item once delivered, regardless of whether they are in the original packaging. Exceptions are made if the furniture is damaged at the time of arrival, the item has any manufacturing defects (based on the eligibility conditions given below) or discrepancy issues (ie if an incorrect item is delivered).
  • Contact our Customer Service team (E-mail: info@ochome.ae, Call: 6005 62463) to place the refund request following which, we can help you set the returning date/time.
  • You also have the option to log in to your OC Home account to place a request for a refund.

Eligibility For Return & Refund
Your furniture item will become eligible for a refund only if any of the following conditions are met.

  • If the product is damaged at the time of arrival.
  • If the item has discrepancy issues (ie, if an incorrect item is delivered).
  • A full refund or exchange will be offered upon management approval for any furniture item with a manufacturing defect if it falls within the specified warranty period. Photo evidence of the manufacturing defect will be required to get the refund/exchange.

Note:

Ensure that you provide the invoice when returning the item.

Manufacturing Defect Resolution 

Step by step process:

1. Repair - Our team will service the damaged item. 

2. Replace - If the damaged item cannot be fixed, we will issue a replacement request for the same product. 

3. Refund - If the item cannot be repaired or replaced (depending on the defect & availability) a refund will be issued back to the source account.

Damaged items
If the items are damaged during transportation, a full refund or replacement is offered.

Manufacturing Defect

-A full refund or exchange will be offered upon management approval for any furniture item with a manufacturing defect if it falls under the specified warranty period. Photo evidence of the manufacturing defect will be required to get the refund/exchange.

Change of Mind

  • A change of mind refund is not acceptable for any furniture item(s).

Non-Refundable/Exchangeable Purchases

  • Custom-made orders.
  • Used items that are accidentally damaged by the customer.
  • Items sold “As-Is” under the clearance section. There is no warranty provided and cannot be repaired/retouched before delivery.
  • Items sold from display.
  • Return, refund or exchange for any furniture item will be denied due to the inconvenience caused by the customer's end at the time of delivery. OC Home will not be responsible for issues regarding building lift size/capacity, narrow doors, low ceilings or narrow passageways.
  • The order will be only delivered to the ground floor if there is no elevator/Narrow Elevator available. You will be required to arrange your own manpower for carrying the items to the higher floor.
  • Our crew may be unable to carry items without causing any damage or risk if the residence has narrow doors, low ceilings & passageways or encounters any other similar inconvenient situations. In such circumstances, the team makes the final decision on whether to deliver the order.
  • OC Home will not provide a return, refund or exchange of any furniture item once delivered, regardless of whether they are in the original packaging. Exceptions are made if the furniture is damaged at the time of arrival, the item has any manufacturing defects (based on the eligibility conditions given above) or discrepancy issues (ie if an incorrect item is delivered).

C.Homeware & Furniture-Refund Discounted Items

Free of Charge Items

  • Any item that has been given free of charge with the purchased product must all also be returned.

Gift Card/Coupon/Offers/Vouchers

If you are to return any product that was purchased using a gift card, coupon or an offer, the other item(s) bought under this order will no longer be applicable. The benefits of the gift card, coupon or offer will not be included in the refund as well. Example - If the returned item is a part of a buy 2 get 1 free offer - all the products bought under this order have to be returned as they were purchased as a group. 

The voucher value will also be lost if an exchange or a refund is placed after you purchase an item using a promo code. Example -If the transaction value is AED250 (AED50 paid by Credit/Debit card + AED200 by promo code) - the refund amount will be only AED50.

D.Homeware & Furniture- Shipping Charges

The refund amount will exclude the delivery charges paid. We will not refund these charges when a return request is placed for any item that has already been delivered to your home. The refund will be processed based on our evaluation of the product’s condition when returned.
